Field Service Technician is responsible for maximizing the Efficiency and Productivity of the Service department and achieving the Highest levels of Customer Satisfaction through Hands On Approach on the Ground and at Customer Premises.
Strong technical knowledge of products & their application.
Extensive in-house QRC (50%) & customer on-site (50%) practical experience in pump servicing and repairs, together with experience in dealing with customers. Select equipment, such as diagnostic tools, that will improve quality and productivity in the service department.
Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction so that Customer continues to return to Flowserve for future work.
Prepare workscope for all repairs ; Prepare Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Plan, organise and ensure that all the on-site Service & Repair activities on a timely and efficient manner.
Provide support to the Sales, in terms of technical assistance, pre-sales presentation, and post-sales technical support if required. However, this is not a Sales role.
Support the execution and fulfillment of the repair jobs, as well as working closely with the manufacturing to facilitate smooth planning.
Ensure and maintain good tracking of all repair orders. Manage Shutdown as Project Manager, interfacing between customer & ops department for project progress status updates & special request.
Any other relevant tasks, as assigned by Manufacturing Manager.
Diploma in Engineering or relevant trade background (preferably with 2-4 years’ experience in pump repairs service industry)
2-3 years’ experience in the capacity of a Service Representative
Knowledge of various kinds of pumps and specific experience on Centrifugal Pumps will be an added advantage.
Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills.
Leadership & ability to interact with all levels of employees.
Problem solving skills.

Knowledge on Pumps repair with hands on experience
Flexibility and willingness to for inter and intrastate travel
