The Manager, SalesEdge Intelligence, will oversee and direct all software development and cross-functional management activities for the new SalesEdge lead/opportunity generation platform. The Manager will also work closely with the development of the new Salesforce CRM and VirtualPlant platforms. The manager will define and implement global strategies to drive effective and efficient development and adoption of the new system(s). The Manager will also be responsible for translating strategies into actionable software and system deliverables, in close coordination with the CRM development project. In so doing, the Manager will be responsible for engaging with and coordinating efforts of multiple sales, sales operations, IT, marketing intelligence, marketing communications and other resources to ensure objectives are achieved.
Define SalesEdge strategic objectives, required product capabilities, software and system design elements, and linkages to other Flowserve tools, as well as integration points to sales operations systems (Salesforce CRM) and other back-office systems. This includes: Defining the software product deliverables required to satisfy the overall business targets and objectives, including: The features, functionality, training, and The delivered cost and schedule Creating necessary collateral required to drive internal adoption, and conduct associate training on the tool(s). Creating all needed product documentation, including process maps, and integration plans for Salesforce. Creating and running webinars to deliver training to the user community Define, develop and maintain a forward-looking plan that links the near- and long-term requirements for the “product” with the benefits derived from new original equipment (OE) and improved aftermarket (MRO) business. Continue to drive development of the key estimation algorithms for OE and MRO across a broad array of industries like refining, chemicals, power generation, etc. Proven ability to convert Marketing / Sales process into systems that measurably deliver results, globally Develop a set of common global processes by which the above activities will be governed, tracked, and reported to Marketing and Sales, integrated with the reporting mechanisms utilized in Salesforce.
Sales and/or Sales Operations or Marketing Automation is highly desired
Product Familiarity – Familiar with Lead/Opportunity management, CRM systems and processes, and Marketing Automation, preferably in industrial B2B markets
(4) Year software development or business degree required, advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in software development and deployment including: CRM, MAP, Lead/Opportunity Generation (priority)
Leading software development teams, either in-house or third-party
Strong history and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies with history of successful completion
Strong understanding and experience in global B2B markets
Implementing global product support strategies, mechanisms and deliverables
Planning and executing product events (launch, training, etc.)
Familiar with big data, master data management, data governance and quality
Understands, experienced and has a proven track record of operating successfully in a global matrix organization with clear and demonstrable data based process orientation.
Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills: oral, written, visual
