Role Summary: As a Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations in our shipping office. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless logistics operations for our site, aligning with the strategy set by the Flowserve Global Logistics Team. You'll coordinate with planners to manage workload efficiently and act as a vital link between the shipping department and our global logistics team.

Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate activities between the shipping floor and office, providing essential guidance.

Serve as the liaison between the site shipping department and Global Logistics Department.

Prepare and maintain documentation, ensuring smooth logistics for product shipments.

Maintain shipping records and provide tracking information to customers as needed.

Prepare shipping paperwork for domestic and international orders, managing transactions efficiently.

Coordinate freight shipping with appropriate carriers, optimizing resources.

Utilize tools to secure the best rates and service for freight shipments.

Ensure compliance with freight payment policies and review billing for accuracy.

Document procedures and provide training as necessary.

Stay updated on international export/import regulations.

Participate in transportation-related projects.

Provide guidance to Purchasing on approved carriers and vendors.

Manage logistics escalations and resolve shipping issues promptly.

Foster relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, resolving complex issues as they arise.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.

Previous shipping and Import & Export Compliance experience preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Familiarity with RFID scanners and mobile technology.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to safety policies and regulations.

Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.

Exceptional organizational skills.
