Develop strategic plan for distribution channel which identifies markets served, potential markets to develop and key strategies within each of those for growth through existing product portfolio or product development.
Work with operations, sales, marketing and technical staff to develop and manage sales strategies that meet customer expectations while achieving profitable growth across at target levels.
Assist in identification, evaluation, selection and onboarding of new distributors.
Collaborate effectively with Sales and Operations on specific market opportunities to increase market share and maximize bookings
Analytically identify opportunities through data sources such as Flowstar, create attainable business plans and engage applicable team members to drive results.
Collaborate with Product Management and Operations to ensure that Flowserve Products are high quality and exceed customer expectations
Present to and consult management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and channel strategies that will lead to an increase in sales.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Develop and facilitate the training curriculum for the region through group training sessions in addition to end-user and distributor site training.Collaborate on development of web portal tools and channel communications.
Role of Business Development Manager – Seal Distribution
Collaborate with Sales and Operations to develop our Seal Distribution channel and grow bookings across all of Latin America.
The LAM Distribution Business Development Manager will work to improve our distributor channel’s market position and achieve financial growth for both Flowserve and distribution within the entire Latin American region . This person defines long and short term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. It is their job to work with the internal team, marketing staff and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. Due to the broad geographical scope of this role, any candidate who meets the minimum qualification and resides anywhere in LAM may apply.
